Privacy policy
Voilà Garage helps drivers find a garage and book an appointment. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights, in line with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. The French version of this policy prevails.
Person in charge of personal information
Voilà Garage's founder is the person in charge of protecting personal information. To reach him: [email protected].
What we collect
When you fill in the form: your first name, cell number, email (optional), vehicle, the service you need, your area, when you are available and your comments. We also keep the source of the visit (for example, the ad that brought you to the site), without identifying you.
Why we use it
- To find a garage and arrange your appointment.
- To contact you by text or email about that appointment (confirmation, reminder, follow-up after the visit).
- If you agreed to it separately: to send you maintenance reminders. You can withdraw this consent at any time by replying STOP or by writing to us.
- To measure which ads work, using data that does not identify you.
Who we share it with
With your consent, we send your first name, number and vehicle only to the garage chosen for your appointment. We never sell or rent your information.
Where it is stored
The site and requests are hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers may be outside Québec. We assessed this transfer and chose a provider that applies recognized security measures. The site's fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your device's IP address to display them.
Cookies
The site uses no tracking cookies or profiling tools. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before turning them on.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for 24 months after your last appointment, then destroy it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. You can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Incidents
If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
